Corsets are not sized like bras. Your waist measurement is most important, you don't want the corset to be too big in the waist. You want the corset to be at least 2" SMALLER than your measurements. It is normal to have up to a 6" gap in the back lacing. Tightly laced up the measurements are as follows: 32 (bust=28", waist=24"), 34=(30b 26w), 36=(32b 28w), 38=(34b 30w), 40=(36b 32w), 42=(38b 34w), 44=(40b 34w), 46=(42b 36w)

I am a corset addict!! This one is my new favortie corset in my collection!! Everything about it is beautiful!! Although the boning is described as soft there are enough pannels that keep everything sturdy (I accually thought it was steel at first because of how rigid it was) and the long length of the corset really makes your body look gorgeous!! The embrodiery is even more stunning in person!! I recommend going a size down for this corset. I usually tak a 34 but after reading other reviews I went with the 32 and it fits like it was custome made for me :D!! I cant wait to wear this to the vampire ball I'm attending in Salem, MA next weekend. I know everyone will ask where I got such a beautiful piece!!

I bought this and I've never loved any single piece of clothing more than this corset. I WOULD suggest buying it a size or even two smaller because if the back is TOO tight, it just doesn't look as great as it should! -Summer H.

when they say it is okay for there to be up to 6 inches of opening in the back, make sure to buy a size or two smaller than what your measurements are. it looks great and the quality is amazing, but for someone with a small bust and larger hips you need to get a size smaller than your measurements.
